    EVE model by Seppo Äyräväinen
The EVE was a rear-projection based virtual reality system where the users were
surrounded by screens measuring approximately 3 by 3 meters. The stereoscopic
images were reflected into these screens and were viewed through stereo shutter
glasses. As a result of head tracking, the user could move around these stereoscopic
three-dimensional objects which he or she saw. The user with a head tracking
device could also interact with the virtual environment with other tracked sensors.
The EVE was operated by the Telecommunications
Software Laboratory of the Helsinki University
  of Technology.
